IoD Isle of Man Local Focus - Ramsey Bay Marina 2020 Presentation
An exciting private sector initiative to develop a marina and national sports centre in Ramsey was presented by Robin Bromley-Martin, Peter Greenlees and Mike Dean to members over an “IoD Isle of Man Local Focus” lunch at the Claremont sponsored by HSBC's Jaime Amoedo.
The project would include a 400 berth 24/7 yacht marina, reclaim 7 hectares of beach, and use local businesses to develop residential and commercial property. The presentation generated much interest where opportunities for jobs, sailing events and social activities were discussed, including how marine life would be protected and supported.
